United Grind Society presents, HiJinks debut single “Bodybag”. A rhythmatic street banger that boldly attempts to reintroduce street-hop back to the masses. HiJinks aka Jinks hails out of Lorain, OH. a subdivision of the Cleveland metropolitan area. Jinks’ premier solo effort comes after an extensive career with partner and producer Vice Souletric. The duo began as Play Havoc in 2001 and continue to work together harmoniously as Vice is the mastermind behind the production on “Bodybag”.
Jinks has a commanding presence on and off the mic, reminiscent of the great heavy set emcees that have proceeded him. Even more-so, Jinks possesses an innate lyrical ability that many have said may potentially place him amongst the greats. His ability to write and formulate song structure gives his music depth far beyond the typical verse-hook-verse approach.

Jinks has a diverse background being raised in 2 households that taught him different life lessons. The nurturing environment of his mother where his academic prowess is evident in his music, only offset by the gritty street tales that come from living with his father in the projects of Cleveland, Columbus, and Atlanta over the years.

Jinks has worked with underground heavy weights such as Reks, Reek Da Villain, G. Huff, Guilty Simpson and others, and is on his way to making his own name in the industry.
