Artistically, Lalo Towers is a natural progression, superior punchline executionist, and a promising starpower. The premise stands alone and moves the Texas style into the future. “Same Shit Diff Dayz,” forsees a really recognizable career for Lalo Towers.
While not trerrible, the album could suffice with a few bigger features. With the solid production, rather local frequent collaborators, the album could have been buzzworthy with fewer more B or C-list popular acts. Especially with Texas being so stacked with noteworthy buzzworthy acts right now to add intensity to any track on the album.
Features aside, Lalo provides an exceptional concept and lyricism throughout the entire album. Everything from his lingo to storytelling, the up-and-coming recording artist delivers a great jumping on point for any newfound fan looking for some great new Dirty South sound. Follow him on Twitter!
