MOKA YOUNG (Australia) – "New Blud" ft. Wide Frame
Fresh young Australian soul and hip hop artist Moka Young is thrilled to announce the release of his first single “New Blud” featuring rising American Hip Hop artist WideFrame, and is set for release on August 3rd. The track comes from his debut album “Young N Restless” due for release on the 1st September. The majority of the song was written by Moka with fellow artist WideFrame contributing his own verse, and was produced by Horace “The Beatsmith”. The inspiration for the song came from the birth of Moka’s young son, and how he wants him to have the best start in life and talks about his hopes for his son’s future. It’s a deeply personal tribute from father to son that relays the impact and positive influence his son has already had on him in his short life so far. The song was recorded, mixed and mastered down in the Blue mountains at Sound Heaven Studios. Moka Young grew up in Cabarita Beach NSW, and now lives live on The Gold Coast. He is the youngest in a family of 3 boys. Moka has been passionate about rap and hip hop music since he was 15 years old, and has been working incredibly hard to kick-start his career. Moka has been working on this album for the last twelve months, with a range of producers and other artists. Moka’s unique sound has been heavily moulded through his love for melody driven soul music, along with his passion for hip hop. His lyrics are inspired by his life experiences and tell the story of life as he sees it. Moka has supported local and international acts such as Bone Thugs n Harmony, The Hated and many more.
