Tea Time (Westchester, NY) – “The Getaway Plan” ft. ROC, Fridäy (Official Video)

Tea-Time is a 20-year-old Hip-Hop artist born in London, England. He moved to Westchester, New York at the age of 8 where he spent his adolescent years. Over this period the NY freestyle and battle scene heavily influenced him. Tea-Time’s music combines an aggressive tone with strong lyrical content and depth. His origins in the music world began mainly with battling, where he went punch line for punch line with other young artists. His musical influences include Big L, Nas, Talib Kweli, Wu Tang Clan, and many more. More current artists such as Wax, Kendrick Lamar, and Soul Khan also heavily influence him. TT began to gain recognition for his talents during his High School years when he started recording and producing his own tracks over famous old school instrumentals. In later years he connected with the Leverage Audio Recording Studios in the Bronx run by Vin Envy. His song concepts are inspired by relatable topics through
his own personal observations of life. Tea-Time’s songs contain roots of Jazz, Soul, Funk, and old school Hip-Hop. He’s been featured in parody videos with Duck Down Records and Sean Price, and has ghostwritten for radio station hip-hop battles. On April 3rd, 2014 Tea-Time released “Boundaries” a fully original 10-track concept album. During the recording process he lost his best friend Denis Lukashkov to suicide and is donating 40% of the albums sales from iTunes and CD’s to The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in Denis’s memory. The album has collaborations from singers and other rappers, which include ROC, Fridäy, and Sarah Charlotte.
