Bodega Bamz Leads New York For Reebok’s Alter The Icons Collection Launch

Spanish Harlem rapper/actor Bodega Bamz is making some major waves this year – first with a new album, then with debut a role on Showtime and now as the new face of Reebok’s latest collection: Alter the Icons. The street fashion maven, known not just for his music but for his style and influence through his own streetwear brand, Tanboys, was tapped to partner with the classic brand as a future icon and talent who redefines the conventional paths to success.

The campaign debuted across the country and in major New York City retailers, including the Times Square Footlocker where Bamz’ icon story is displayed across two digital billboards totaling 143 feet in height. Bamz was joined by eager fans this past Friday as he helped launch the new line at the Footlocker flagship on 34th street and Champs in Harlem’s 125th street.

The artist released his highly anticipated sophomore studio album, P.A.P.I. (Proud and Powerful Individualz) earlier this year, distributed through Duck Down Music and Bodega Bamz owned label, 100 Keep It. Bamz is currently filming for Season 2 of Showtime’s Golden Globe nominated show SMILF, where he returns guest star billing as “Carlos.”
